THE YOGA CLINIC Inc.

THE YOGA CLINIC offers a warm, gentle, safe and empathetic environment.  Our goal is to incorporate breath, technique, and meditation in each practice to induce relaxation, revitalize and refresh.

TYC caters to The Yoga Community.  People of all ages and fitness levels are welcome.  You don't have to be young, fit, flexible, and active.  You just have to be willing to improve your life- Relax, Revive, Refresh.

When: 12:00PM to 12:45PM


Where: Coronation Park (By the grandstand on the southwest corner of the park by the big weeping willow) on the west side of the volleyball area


How long: 

Every Tuesday from 12 noon to 12:45PM- 45 minute class


Special Addition:  We will have catering available onsite as per client request so be sure to reserve your healthy platter online along with your membership so that you can enjoy it right after your class.


Speedwalking-Yoga Fall Program
Tuesday September 14th to Tuesday October 26th

The Yoga Clinic Inc. is introducing a new innovative Fall Program for you, yoga enthusiasts, who would want to appreciate the splendour of our beautiful Fall colours, while getting a breath of fresh air and some cardiovascular activity. Each session consists of an invigorating  speedwalk complimented with a short but well-needed yoga element.

Where:  We will be meeting at St. Aidan's Church and we will be walking to one of the adjacent parklands.  

When: Every Tuesday evening

Time: 6:30-7:30PM; 1 hour long session

How:  Simply bring a good pair of walking shoes and yourself

Benefits:

  • stimulates your heart at the correct rate as well as jogging, aerobics
  • strengthens heart and lungs
  • firms muscles and makes joints more flexible and bones denser
  • posture improves
  • burn weight right off your waist
  • work off more calories per mile than joggers because shorter strides require more steps to cover the same distance
  • less wear and tear on the body when wearing appropriate foot gear
